This is a single page story for a football player in the middle of the game. He is an offensive player but has long ago lost his ability to score. His teemates, therefore, try to avoid passing the ball to him and he gets angry.The basic influence for this comic was a story i heard about a very good offensive player that couldn't score even if he passed the entire opposite team.

This story derives from an actual poem I have written long ago and decided to convert it to comic. This is also the case for the stories A Poem and The Trial. The initial thought was to leave them without color and to use them as illustrations-poems in a collection of poems i was working with. This project was abandoned and therefore i added color and left them as standalone comics.

The texts are in greek. I used Photoshop for coloring and lettering.

The Player became the script and basis for an animation i made in 2013 (you can see the animation in the respective section).
