This is a sketch from a photo downloaded from internet. It is a photo of Parthenon (date 1908) by the photographer Fred Boissonnas. You can see more of his work here.

I wanted to make it as realistic possible (especially the textures) so it took me quite a long time (almost one day and a half). I am almost satisfied with most of the textures. However, comparing with the original photo, there can be found three main differences (and only one made by choice -the erasure of the human figure). The other two are the opening space of the door (which needed to be narrower) and some forms around the door (that needed to be darker). I am sure there are more but perhaps they are not so significant (at least i hope so).

The sketch is made with pencil.
