A view of the old fortress in Corfu island (Greece, Ionion sea). The two paintings with subject the fortresses in Corfu were created together. Again here the pseudocubic style. However I'm not so sure if the structure of this landscape jystify my choice. The color range is quite flat.

This is one of the landscapes I made using a pseudocubic technic. I was inspired by the view of the village Ano Syros in the island Syros of Cyclades (Greece), which is highly geometrical. Of course, this is no exact representation of the view.

This painting is quite abstract (I was wondering whether I should put it here or with the others in the abstract -geometrical category). Judging by the fact that it is quite possible to distinguish basic elements of the landscape (such as the sea, the big church on the left, the small island at the right etc.) I put it here.

Actually, it is an abstract version of a smaller one (study) from the same view. You can see the second painting in the gallery below.

This is my second try using the pseudocubic style. Again Syros provided the inspiration. The view in this painting is slightly different from the previous one.
I'm not satisfied with the reflexions of the houses especially at the right of the painting.

This is one of my first attempts to use the pseudocubic style and it was inspired by the small cycladic houses of Ermoupoli (the town in the island of Syros) which are built very close to each other and don't have rooftops. The painting is framed with a blue frame.

This is a cubistic work based on the works of Braque, Picasso, etc... I tried to use a similar color range but didn't remain faithful to the cubistic look as i added some human figures falling down inside a gap that rans and continually grows from the very top of the image to the bottom. The word "sack" was to be interpreted with both meanings...

The painting must be considered as a study rather than an original work.
